One of the most fun improvements recently installed at Hedo is the WaterSlide. It will satisfy all those with a desire to get nekkid and go fast. A couple of years ago, as we were preparing for our trip, we thought: "Let's have some real fun with this new toy", so the first annual "Slick-Ass-Sliders" WaterSlide Races was born. (Many thanks to Kenny & Ginger for the name idea and prize support).
Originally, we planned to have both Nude and Prude, Male and Female categories, and even a Relay race. When it all finally came down, it was about 150 nekkid people cheering on 34 nekkid entrants. Resort management didn't quite know what to make of the whole spectacle, as they'd never seen anything like it!! They checked us out carefully, and determined that we were running a safe operation.
With Cap'n Bob as the starter and Big Ed as the timer, we allowed each entrant to run up to four heats, and took the best time of the four. Prizes were awarded to the fastest four of each gender that night after dinner.
